Official Statement About Bizzy Bone

Posted by BTNHCentral on May 04, 2005

Many of you probably heard the recent interview with a Houston radio station where Bizzy Bone was talking like he was crazy. Well in a new interview Bizzy Bone clears up any questions that you may have about him and Bone Thugs plus more.

Official Statement

5/03/2005

Statements based upon the Bizzy Bone interview, in Houston, TX by the Source Magazine and other media sources claim that during this interview the jocks were at times nervous and laughing stating that Bizzy Bone was off base with his responses to the questions asked. They felt uneasy with the way he was mumbling and slurring his words. Causing the media to frenzy making false claims that Bizzy was or is using drugs. Bizzy reply to these allegations is " I am not on drugs, I may on occasion drink a beer to relieve tension, relax or to sooth the spirit". Bizzy in fact claims during this interview, blasphemy and evil words were being said toward him as they laughed.
He also addressed him living arrangement, he's in fact not homeless, he stays in hotel by choice not by force. That he comes in contact with people (homeless) and shelters and bus stops. Quoted saying "This is real America, I walk with these people, these people are real and what I write about is real".
In response to his suffering his manager Rick Robinson stated today that he has been in the studio recording and making guest appearances. This industry is a daily struggle, not matter who you are or how well connected you may be.
Bizzy finally addressed one last issue. The claims being made about his mental and emotional stability, he stated that he is walking through his spiritual mission. He's finally set in his spot and knows what he wants. Everyone around him creates confusion and lies, but yet no one is willing to offer help. He's not asking for hand outs, for he is a humble man, but what he does ask for is respect. "Respect is given, when it is received. Keep it real all the way, don;t come at me with bullshit, cut the games. Everyone knows what's going on, yet no one wants to stand up and KEEP IT REAL".

Bone & Others Salute Jam Master Jay And His Adidas

Posted by BTNHCentral on March 01, 2005

Nas, Fat Joe, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Q-Tip, Public Enemy and DMC were among those on hand for a fund-raiser gala that celebrated the Jam Master himself as well as the 35th anniversary of his group's favorite kicks.

"Jam Master Jay is my man, and Queens is my borough," Nas said of the late DJ, who was slain in his Queens studio in October 2002 (see "Jam Master Jay, Run-DMC DJ, Killed In Shooting"). "It's important we come out and show love to the foundation and the community work that's being put together through Adidas and the Jam Master Jay Foundation."

"We came together for this to really pay homage," said Layzie Bone, flanked by his entire group. "It really means a lot to us because we came up on Run-DMC. We really loved these guys, and Jam Master Jay taught us some things and talked to us. It really meant a lot to be here."

"Run-DMC were one of the most powerful impacts on my childhood, 'cause they took a culture and made it worldwide and showed me the possibilities of something I liked," offered video director Dave Meyers (Jay-Z, Kelly Clarkson). "They were some cool guys doing cool sh--. I was a kid who was very influenced by their creative flow and the choices they made."

Many of the artists noted that not only were they influenced by the music of Jam Master Jay (born Jason Mizell), but as they became prominent in the industry, Jay reached out to them personally.

"Jam Master was a mentor, an idol to me, a good brother," Fat Joe remembered. "Every time I seen him, he was like, 'Yo, Joe, you gotta get outta the Bronx. You gotta get out of New York. You gotta sell some records somewhere else. There's a whole world out there, go sell some records somewhere else.' "

"Everyone coming to support just shows me all the love and effect Jason had," Jam Master Jay's widow, Terri Corley-Mizell, said. "It's about honoring his legacy and life. Everyone here had love for Jason, which means a lot for me."

The Adidas sneaker was shown love as well: 35 types of special Adidas were on display, including the Missy Elliott shoe, the Bad Boy shoe, the Roc-A-Fella 10th anniversary sneaker and a Disney sneaker with a picture of Goofy on it.

"Adidas gotta show love," DMC said. "We took that shell-toe sneaker around the world. We stepped onstage at Live Aid, the people gave and the poor got paid. Adidas is more than a sneaker on my feet, it represents what hip-hop is about."

Some of the proceeds from the event went to the Jam Master Jay Foundation, which supports music programs in inner-city schools. DMC, Bone Thugs and Public Enemy were among the performers who hit the stage at the shindig.

Arrest Warrant Issued For Krayzie Bone

Posted by BTNHCentral on February 24, 2005

According to AllHipHop and MTV News an arrest warrant for Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was reportedly issued Wednesday (Feb. 24) after the rapper failed to appear at a scheduled plea hearing in Butler County, Ohio.

Krayzie Bone, born Anthony Henderson, has been battling charges of child support non-payment in Ohio for the last three years.

During a scheduled plea hearing in Butler County Common Pleas Court, Henderson, 31, would have received probation providing that he maintained steady child support payments for his 6-year-old son, according to Ohio's Journal News.

Henderson's nonattendance, however, carries a punishment of up to 18 months in prison. Assistant Prosecutor Aaron Aldridge requested a warrant for the rapper's arrest.

Henderson was indicted last August on two counts of the fifth-degree felony, nonsupport of dependents, which carries a 12-month prison sentence. At the time, prosecutors issued a warrant for Henderson's arrest for failing to appear in court to face the charges.

The rapper reportedly placed $40,000 in an escrow account for the mother of his son. The money was released to the mother after paternity tests verified that Henderson was the father of the child. Henderson had disputed paternity.

After the Butler County Child Support Enforcement Agency passed the rapper's case on to the prosecutor's office in 2002, Henderson paid a lump sum of $35,000, and the case was dropped before it was presented before a grand jury.

Henderson's failure to continue payments between 2002 and 2004 reportedly led to the August 2004 indictment.

Krayzie Bone's third solo album titled Gemini: Good vs. Evil was released earlier this month.

Update
Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has promptly responded to reports that an arrest warrant was issued Wednesday (Feb. 24) for the rapper after he failed to attend a scheduled plea hearing in Butler County, Ohio.

Krayzie Bone, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, has been confronted with charges of child support non-payment of his 6-year-old son in Ohio for the last three years.

Assistant Prosecutor Aaron Aldridge requested a warrant for Krayzie's arrest after the rapper reportedly missed a plea hearing in Butler County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

"When I found out, I quickly contacted the courts to arrange to turn myself in to avoid any further discrepancies in the case," Krayzie told AllHipHop.com. "I'm not running nor hiding from the law. It was simply a misunderstanding of whether I was supposed to appear again after the paternity [of the child] was determined."

Krayzie was indicted last August on two counts of nonsupport of dependents, after which he placed $40,000 in an escrow account for the mother of his son.

The money was released to the mother after paternity tests confirmed that Krayzie was the boy's father.

"I just simply needed to know if this was in fact my son, because unfortunately there are many women who prey on entertainers such as myself," said Krayzie of the paternity test.

"After the funds were released, it was to my understanding that the non-support case would be dismissed," Krayzie continued. "However, I was contacted by my California [attorney] telling me that I was supposed to appear in court on February 23 and a warrant was issued for failure to appear."

Boiling the situation down to a misunderstanding, Krayzie insists that he is a responsible father despite the charges.

"Just to let everybody know, Krayzie Bone is far from a dead beat dad," the rapper insisted. "I take care of all [my kids] and love 'em all!"

Krayzie Bone's third solo album titled Gemini: Good vs. Evil was released earlier this month.
